In order to show you the reactions of some of our customers, and thus inform you of our standards as regards our approaches to your very own hog and spit roast catered events, here are some hog roast testimonials from the back catalogue we keep at Premier Hog HQ. We hope you enjoy reading them! As you will probably deduce for yourselves, some of our customers are rather more vocal than others!

‘After holding a society garden function for the past 18 years at the same time of year, we decided that this time we would shake things up a little. Having travelled extensively through the Foreign Office, we decided to bring the hog roast to our yearly garden function. The food, I have to say, was some of the finest I have ever consumed. The meat was simply luxurious, the accompaniments the same. As a catered service I cannot recommend them highly enough, as their staff made a five-starred hotel seem like an insolent runner up. Haute cuisine and quality service from start to finish. What particularly impressed me was the absolute professionalism encapsulated within the entire aspect of their catering operation. Attentive and confident, their service as well as the quality of the food on offer could teach every London restaurant a thing or two. ‘Wow! What can I say? We were completely and thoroughly overawed by Premier Hog. We simply had no idea that a firm like this existed, a place where we were made to feel so completely and utterly relaxed. This was strange for me as I am an inherent worrier, made much the worse as it was my daughters wedding reception which I was organizing. Premier Hog came and discussed my requirements for all the days necessities. My contact with the events team allowed me to off-load all my anxieties as regards the catering and service elements within the catering sphere. Their confidence was contagious, and this was definitely not unfounded. Come the days end, everyone had been completely stunned by the food. The lovely spitting machines had cooked whilst looking stunning, as did the staff in their beautiful whites, with livery embossed waistcoats. The service and chefs seemed to work in q lovely closed sequence, each seeming to know the movements of the other. The staff made everything seem almost ethereal, with food that was better than any restaurant I had ever eaten in. What shone through was the fact that every single member of the team was not only highly professional, but each was also in love with the food that they served. ‘Corporate events have always been tedious for us, to a point. Although allowing us to generate a lot of custom as well as allowing us to better understand our international counterparts, the catering aspect was always the weak link in the chain, especially as our existence as an events organizer stipulates that we must convene our own events instead of using, say, a five star hotel and its amenities. Through this we have been on the receiving end of many poor attempts at catering through the exploits of many expensive yet poor catering outfits. Through the use of Premier Hog, we have completely re defined ourselves within our own events. First of all, the food was simply sensational – easily the best food I’ve had in all my years in London (please ensure my mother doesn’t read this!). The truly brilliant aspect of this sort of service, as regards cuisine at catered corporate events such as ours, is the fact that the food style is truly universal. Where before, a medium rare steak may have been too bland and un-exciting for our Japanese and Far Eastern business partners, the hog and spit roasting of various meats (especially when combined with delightful vegetables) allows all members to be both visually excited and satisfied in terms of the food served. This, surely, is due to the hog roast transcending nationality! As it was around before we all were, it is as relevant to us as it is to anyone on Earth! Uniting ourselves and all of our business partners, we have had some of the best fun with our counterparts and the food really helped to build a positive atmosphere. Providing so much more than food, the theatrical splendour of the roasts allowed avid talking points and great relief, therefore we when we weren’t ‘talking shop’ we could be chatting away to the wonderful staff that were provided. (staff, by the way, who could teach these London waiters a whole lot.) After having these guys for over 2 years in over 5 events, we love them and we hope the feeling’s mutual! ‘What a spectacle. We employed the services of Premier Hog through the advice of a former study colleague in order to celebrate the graduation of our year group. I must say, although they’re seen as being the very finest in spit inspired catering (‘Not any hog roast, this is an M&S hog roast etc!’), they were very competitively priced. For over 5 hours they served food to over 200 hundred unruly student graduates. The food surpassed all of our expectations, the meat being simply divine. Having lived in the hinterland of the French canal and river region, I’ve tasted great food, but this lot trumped it all. Capitalising on the simple beauty of great ingredients by cooking them slowly and with much ‘aficion,’ our event was the envy of all the colleges. A super day made special by the grandeur of the food, grandeur in taste which was inexplicably and poetically amplified by the informality (which we requested) of the service side of the event. ‘Spent the whole afternoon languishing in the sun with drinks and the family, was a great day all round. Having held a yearly party in the Welsh hills, we decided (due to the numbers increasing year on year) to have someone else do all the cooking. In truth, I’m no barbecue expert myself, and where many men feel great swellings of pride/fun/masculinity whilst barbecueing, I feel boredom and strain. Thus, on the recommendation of my former Stock Broking colleague, I employed the services of Premier Hog. First of all I must congratulate them on providing a standard of cuisine which I have never had anywhere else; the food was simply stunning. The meat was roasted to such divine perfection whilst the chefs entertained with the delightful machines and the turning, roasting pigs and lambs had everyone enthralled and enraptured, from the youngest to the oldest. Seeing the whole service from start to finish clearly demonstrated Premier Hog’s commitment to freshness, as everything was cooked from scratch beneath their delightful gazebos. With such slick service as I have ever seen, our group was served food which we will not forget. As before, it was a great day made memorable by having food which was simply sublime. ‘Having Premier Hog take care of the catering at my wedding was the icing on the cake for what was truly beautiful day. Set among the lovely grounds of Fountains Abbey, the scene was set for brilliance to ensue. The sun was out and everyone was in high spirits. Having eaten the fare of quit a few hog roast caterers before, I was anticipating good food and average service. Premier Hog, however, completely blew us away with the entirety of their catering services. From start to finish, all the staff from chefs through to the serving assistants moved with the grace of flowing swans. All with a massive culinary knowledge, the Premier Hog staff were attentive and highly professional. Sometimes I got the impression that my husband was more interested in their machines than me! ‘Shockingly good food and very reasonable to! Had Premier take care of a corporate event for us and we were stunned. Better than any meat I’ve tasted anywhere with side accompaniments that were delightful and delicate. Our business partners loved it and the mood was highly productive. The service was delightful, taken care of by well informed staff who really knew what they were doing. A well oiled machine, you could say.
